About Me
I think art "Adorns our World". I have always loved art and beautiful things. I have seen some great art in some great museums on my travels as a military brat! I have had the little voice that has been with me for what seems like forever.... it whispers "you are an artist".I began to feel like it was true after taking many different classes. Sewing classes, ceramics, watercolor, painting, cooking but until I found fused glass it didn't feel like it was true. But when I got my fused glass studio up and going and began to stretch myself and learn even more the voice changed and said "YOU ARE AN ARTIST".
So, I finally feel like an artist! And after that I have been able to grow in other ways doing some encaustic and mixed media both of which I really enjoy as well as the glass.
My studio's are outside in my carport, which in Texas can be difficult so I do my glass on those perfect days that I can... (no one really wants glass dust or shards in their house anyway so this is a good thing). On days that it just won't work out in the carport, a spare bedroom is my playground for mixed media and encaustics.
